The first boy to come to our home was Adesa Shersan Classic Rock, with the call name of Jaggar (or Jiggity-Jag as he is affectionately called at home).

Jaggar joined us as an adorable little puppy from his kennel in Ohio. Warren had the opportunity to travel down to the Adesa in August of 2006 to meet with Bobbi Kinley-Blewett and collect him.

It was a great opportunity to get some advice and spend some time at the kennel of one of America' s top breeders. Bobbi was beynd kind, taking Warren into her home and sharing with him some of her amazing expertise.

Coming from a long line of Champions, it didn' take Jaggar long to follow in the family tradition.

Jag finished his Canadian Championship in one weekend at 6 months of age. It was quite an accomplishment for a little dog, taking the Best of Breed after having only been eligible for showing for four days.

Around our home, Jag is known as the gentle giant. Though big in size and immense in heart, he is kind and delicate to even the smallest child. He has a soft personality, and adores his family more than anything. He listens to every command and is more than eager to please. And he thinks puppies and little dogs are the best things ever.

Jaggar's favorite time of the day is when we take him for his morning walk when we take our son down to meet the school bus. Afterwards, Jag bounds back to his mat to wait patiently for breakfast.

True to his heritage, Jaggar is a true farm dog at heart. Jag loves running through the field, and herding up cattle. On a hot summer day, he loves swimming in our pond. In winter, he is in his element and will bound around in the snow, following the children down the sledding hill by running behind.

Jaggar's future is very bright, as he begins working in Draft and spending lots of time with his beloved family around the farm.
